Meters, accounts, suppliers and tasks

This month, we rebuilt a large part of SNDQ's core architecture — and used that work to add screens for meters, accounts, suppliers and tasks, areas that didn't have their own screen before.

New features

Meter creation, detail and readings

Managing a building's utility meters used to mean tracking numbers wherever you could — a spreadsheet, a notebook, whatever worked. Now meters live inside SNDQ itself: add a meter to a building, open it to see its full history, and record a new reading directly from the platform.

  • Attach a photo as proof whenever you record a reading, so there's no dispute later about what the meter actually showed
  • Every reading uses the same date format across the board, so a year of history reads as one consistent list instead of a mix of formats

Facility detail and creation

Buildings rarely come with just units — there's a shared bike room, a laundry area, a parking garage, a rooftop terrace. Add any of these facilities to a building and view its full details in a dedicated screen, so they're documented alongside everything else instead of living in a separate note.

Account overview, detail and creation

Every workspace deals with more than one financial account — an operating account, a reserve account, sometimes several per building. See every account in one overview instead of checking each one separately, open any account to see its full detail, and create a new one directly from the platform. Accounts connected via Ponto or Isabel sync automatically, so payments show up without manual reconciliation

Cost settlement detail

When costs for a period are settled — split, matched, closed out — view the full details of that settlement in a dedicated screen, so the numbers are traceable after the fact instead of scattered across individual cost entries.

Contact overview, creation and detail

Contacts have been part of SNDQ since the very first release — MyRent registration needs them, invoices need them — but until now there was no dedicated place to search, create, and manage them on their own. That gap is closed: search across every contact, add a new one, and open any contact to see its full detail. Recognize a contact at a glance with photo support, instead of relying on the name alone

Supplier detail and creation

Suppliers show up everywhere in the platform — on purchase invoices, on cost entries — but like contacts, they never had a home of their own. Add a supplier and view its full details in a dedicated screen. Recognize a supplier at a glance with photo support, the same as for contacts

Task creation

Create a task directly from the platform — assign it, give it a due date, link it to the building or contact it's about — instead of tracking it somewhere outside SNDQ.

New workspace creation

Create an entirely new workspace directly from your settings, instead of going through a separate signup.

Property Manager dashboard

This dashboard is built specifically for Property Manager workspaces — showing the numbers that matter for managing rental contracts, instead of a generic dashboard shared with Building Manager workspaces.

Notary information sheet template (Building Manager)

When an owner sells their unit, the notary handling the sale needs specific information about the building — things like the reserve fund balance and any pending works. Generate that information sheet directly from the platform, instead of putting it together by hand each time a sale happens.

Improvements

  • The following screens were rebuilt for better performance and reliability: Provision overview, detail and creation; Building detail and creation; Cost overview, detail and payment assignment; Notification detail, creation and closing; Workspace settings — Users; Add payment.
  • Sales invoice creation: now generates the invoice number and VAT breakdown for you.
  • Workspace document templates: rebuilt for better performance and reliability — templates carry over the table support and image resizing already available in the template editor.
